What Does This Mean?
SpaceX is set to launch two satellites massing 1,500 kg to Sun-Synchronous Orbit for Maxar. These are the first two satellites for a planned six-satellite constellation that will provide Earth observation services for the company. The payload will launch atop a Falcon 9, lifting off from Space Launch Complex 4 East, at the Vandenberg Space Force Base, in California. Following launch, the booster will attempt a soft landing on Landing Zone 4.
How Did It Go?
This mission was fully successful — the booster successfully landed and the payload was deployed into the correct orbit.
