What Does All This Mean?
SpaceX is set to launch its first Bandwagon mission — part of SpaceX’s rideshare program that targets roughly 45-degree orbits as opposed to the polar low-Earth orbits of the transporter missions. This mission will launch 11 payloads into orbit, including a classified synthetic aperture radar satellite for the South Korean government, from Launch Complex 39A, at the Kennedy Space Center, in Florida. Following launch, the first stage will attempt landing on SpacceX’s Landing Zone 1.
How Did It Go?
This launch was fully successful; the payload was deployed into the correct orbit and the booster successfully landed.
